BIC is an independent organisation set up and sponsored by the Publishers Association, Booksellers Association, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and the British Library to promote supply chain efficiency in all sectors of the book world through e-commerce and the application of standard processes and procedures.
Despite the cancellation of London Book Fair (LBF) 2020 (due to ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 virus), the BIC Building a Greener Business seminar went ahead on Thursday 12th March 2020 – on the same date and at the same time as previously stated, but in the form of a webinar.
Attendees joined us during this two-and-a-half hour session to hear from book industry experts on a variety of topics, all ultimately focussed on helping them build a more efficient, greener business.
A recording of this webinar is available on the BIC YouTube channel to provide an opportunity for you to hear about the measures already being taken by book industry organisations to address green issues within their supply chain.
